February 15, 2024 Update
The Menorah Park and Montefiore Foundations are pleased to announce their transition from fundraising organizations to grant-making organizations dedicated to improving the lives of Jewish seniors in our community.
This change was made effective following the sale of Menorah Park and all its residential facilities to Outcome Health. Neither the Menorah Park nor the Montefiore Foundations were a part of the sale, and we are not in any way affiliated with the King David Healthcare Center, the Daughters of Miriam Healthcare Center or any of the other residential facilities on the campus.
The Foundation is a non-profit organization, and since its formation in 1994 has been a separate legal entity from the former Menorah Park.
As we all know, our older adults continue to have critical support needs related to housing, social isolation, memory care, transportation and more.
We remain grateful to those who have given to the Foundations in the past, as these generous contributions will allow us to provide these critical services to older adults in the future. At the end of this transition, the Foundations will use the substantial dollars donated to them by our family of donors to support older adults through grantmaking.
We will be in touch as we finalize our new grant making priorities so we can best allocate your family’s previous or planned gifts in a way that is most meaningful to you.
